Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps on Android in Finland, Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Finland exhibited diverse performance metrics. Here is an overview of their weekly downloads and active users trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH experienced a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.6K in late December 2021 and dropping to just over 350 by the end of March 2022. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 7.7K and 8.4K initially and ending the quarter at approximately 7.5K.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a modest start to the quarter with weekly downloads ranging between 400 and 550. The numbers dipped mid-quarter but picked up again, reaching around 430 by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 13.4K to about 11K in February, but saw an upswing to approximately 11.9K towards the end of the quarter.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether saw its weekly downloads decrease from around 350 in late December to about 150 in early March, before rebounding slightly to end the quarter at around 280. Active users for the app fluctuated but generally increased, peaking at over 14.7K in mid-March and settling at roughly 13.5K by the end of the quarter.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet started the quarter with around 430 weekly downloads, which steadily declined to around 65 by mid-March before recovering slightly to 185. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 2.5K and ending the quarter at around 2.5K, despite some fluctuations in between.

Coinbase Wallet: NFTs & Crypto maintained a consistent download trend, starting at approximately 180 downloads and peaking at 357 in early February, before tapering off to around 227 by the end of March. Active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, starting at 899 and ending at around 969.
